In the Export File dialog box, you specify the Save In location,
and the File name. From the Save as type list box, you select the
output image format for the document.
For some output formats, namely TIFF Uncompressed, PCX,
DCX, and BMP, you can click the Options button to further
define the type of data that will be stored. When you click the
Options button, the Export Options dialog box is displayed (refer
to Figure 4–11).
Click Save in the Export File dialog box to save the document to
the new file name and location.
Note
When you export to another image format, all segmentation
information (separation of binary, grayscale, and color data) in
the original XIF file is lost. In the output file, the data is merged
into one segment.
Using the SendTo command
In the Editor’s File menu, the Send To command displays the
available programs in a cascading menu (Figure 4–53).

When you select a program, Pagis Pro converts the XIF document
to the appropriate text or image format, launches the target
program, and places the converted data into an open document.
