during transfix. The media was
shorter than expected.
1.
Check for supported media.
2.
Ensure the Paper Guides are snug
against the media in the tray.
3.
Remove the Preheater and Deskew
Assembly (
REP 2.20
) and check the
Preheater Exit Flag for ink or paper
interference.
4.
Replace the Preheater and Deskew
Assembly (
REP 2.20
) if the error per-
sists.

1.
Check for supported media.
2.
Try heavier media.
3.
Try loading only a few sheets. Some
photo media may require running one
sheet at a time.
4.
Replace the Pick Assembly and Retard
Roller (

).
5.
Remove the Preheater and Deskew
Assembly (
REP 2.20
) and check the
Preheater Flag for ink or paper interfer-
ence.
6.
Replace the Preheater and Deskew
Assembly (
REP 2.20
) if the error per-
sists.
NOTE: Possibly due to motor overheat-
ing.
7.
Open all doors and Tray 2. Wait 1 hour
and try printing again.

snugly against the media.
4.
Try running media from another tray.
5.
Check the Pre-deskew Flag (

) for correct operation. Replace

) if
necessary.
6.
Check the Pick and Retard Rollers for
damage, debris or excessive wear.
