8.2 Modem on RS232
TresCon UNO supports the Hayes standard. Communication to the
modem is made according to the following possible settings: The set-
tings when the instrument is delivered are marked in bold:
Baud rate 1200 , 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400
Data bits 8, not variable
Stop bit 1, not variable
Parity None, not variable
Handshake CTS/RTS, not variable
Dialing method Voice frequency signaling (MFV) , pulse
dialing (IWV)
Extension line Specifications on dialing a prefix:

No /Yes (No = do not use a prefix)




(behavior between dialing the prefix and
telephone number:
wait : TresCon UNO waits for the
dial tone.
pause : TresCon UNO continues
dialing after a break (2 s)
without waiting for the dial
tone.
pause * 2 : Like pause but with double
pause time.
Pause * 3: Like Pause but with triple
pause time.
