cooling space, minimum one piston each three

-- Do a visual check of the piston, piston rings and
cylinder liner through the scavenge ports

-- Do a visual check of the cylinder liner 500 to 1000 (and at
every piston removal)
-- Measure ring grooves, inspect the chromium
plating and re--chrome as necessary
