20) Attach the silencer (1, Fig. 4 ) to the
control valve.
21) Put the shut-off valve in position on the
engine.
22) Attach the pipe flange (14) to the flange
(15) on the shut-off valve with the four
M16 screws (13).
23) Torque the four M16 screws (13) to the
value given in 0352 − 2 , paragraph 1.
24) Attach the pipe flange (11) to the flange
(12) of the shut-off valve with the four
M16 screws (10).
25) Torque the four M16 screws (10) to the
value given in 0352 − 2, paragraph 1.
26) Connect the electrical connections to the
pressure transmitter (7) and the
solenoid valves (6).
27) Install the pipe (5) to the control valve.
28) Install the pipe that is attached to the ball
valve 8353_E0_2.
29) Install the pipe that is attached to the
2/2-way valve 35 − 4325_E0_5
6. Shut-off Valve − Test
6.1 Initial Position
Note: You must only do this test on a
fully assembled engine that is
ready to start.
1) Make sure that the stop valves
930 − V03 and 930 − V04 are closed.
2) Use the handwheel (9) to move the
shut-off valve in the position CLOSED.
3) Disengage the turning gear.
6.2 Test Procedure
WARNING
Injury hazard. During this
test, do not select START.
Injury to personnel can
occur.
1) Close the ball valve 30 − 8605_E0_6.
2) Slowly open the stop valves 930 − V03
and 930 − V04.
3) Slowly loosen the screw plug (16). Make
sure that no air flows out.
