3.2 Installation
1) Attach the nozzle body (2, Fig. 6) and coupling nut (8) with the injection valve (9) on
the test bench.
2) Make sure that the dowel pin (11) is installed.
3) Attach the guide bush( 7, 94278B) to the nozzle body (2).
4) Put the nozzle tip (5) into the cylinder (6). Align the recess in the nozzle tip (5) with
the dowel pin (10).
5) Put the cylinder (6) and the nozzle tip (5) into the guide bush (7).
6) Turn the cylinder (6) until the recess in the nozzle tip aligns with the dowel pin (10).
Note: The cylinder (6) moves down a small distance and cannot be moved more
with your hand.
7) Use a copper or rubber mallet to tap the cylinder (6) fully down.
8) Turn the guide bush (7) counterclockwise to remove the nozzle assembly
tool (94278B).
9) Remove the coupling nut (8) and the nozzle body (2).
10) Use clean diesel oil, or clean kerosene to clean the needle (1), compression
spring (4), and tappet (3).
11) Use a clean, low-pressure air supply to dry the needle (1), compression spring (4),
and tappet (3).
12) Put the needle (1) into the nozzle tip (5). Make sure that the the needle moves
freely.
13) Put the tappet (3) and compression spring (4) into the nozzle body (2).
14) Attach the intermediate plate to the nozzle body (2). Make sure that dowel
pin engages in the hole in the nozzle body.
15) Do the procedure in paragraph 4 to assemble the injection valve.
