Note: During step 11 ), make sure that you
do not cause damage to the gear
wheel and the thread of the
connection sleeve.
11) Operate the manual ratchets (H1 and
H2, Fig. 6 ) to move the fuel pump to the
position shown. Make sure that the
chains of the manual ratchets go over
the guide tube.
12) Continue to operate the manual ratchets
(H1 and H2, Fig. 7 ) until the fuel pump is
under the manual ratchet (H2).
13) Remove the manual ratchet (H1).
14) Remove the tube (94581J) and the
support plate (94581A).
15) Attach the engine room crane to the
applicable chain (94581F, or 94581L).
16) Remove the manual ratchet (H2).
17) Operate the engine room crane to move
the fuel pump to an applicable area.
Note: To remove the gear wheel, refer to
5556 − 2/A1 .
4. Fuel Pump No. 2 −
Installation
1) Make sure that the housing, gear wheel
and safety device are clean and have no
damage.
2) Make sure that all sealing surfaces are
clean and have no damage.
3) Attach the engine room crane to the
applicable chain (94581F, or 94581L,
Fig. 8 ).
4) Operate the engine room crane to move
the fuel pump to the position shown.
5) Attach the manual ratchet (H2) to the
applicable chain (94581F, or 94581L).
6) Remove the engine room crane from the
applicable chain (94581F, or 94581L).
