Headphone Control
On the left side of the front panel of the AM‑10HD
is a quarter inch female TRS jack for headphone use.
The volume control for the headphone output is located
on the far right of the front panel.
To adjust the headphone volume press and hold the
black button below the knob, then turn the knob clockwise
to increase volume and counter‑clockwise to reduce it.
Note: The headphone outputs of the AM‑10HD are
driven by National Semiconductor LM675 power op
‑
erational amplifiers which are capable of driving very high currents (>3A)
into any reasonable load. Actual headphone impedance is not a concern;
however headphone circuit current limiting is provided at 160mA in order
to protect external devices.
In additional to the front panel headphone control, there is a
headphone level slider at the lower right corner of the AM‑10HD
GUI.
