The ideal case is to have the waveform look exactly like Figure C (or display no
signs of ringing at all), but sometimes perfect correction is not possible, particularly
when operating into antenna systems with very narrow bandwidth * (see below). You
may need to find a compromise setting such as that shown in Figure B.
* For transmitter/antenna system combinations that cannot be adequately overshoot
corrected we recommend operating the audio processor with one of the narrower
bandwidth settings. This is because wider bandwidth settings combined with ag‑
gressive audio processing may stress the transmitter’s final RF stage, matching
network and antenna system components beyond their ratings leading to arcing,
overheating, or damage.
