ERROR MESSAGE PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Open failed, disable other function Detector connection to the CU board. If
the CU Board is broken the software will
not start.
If only one detector is broken, the scan
will show a blank line on the scan
–
showing a void in the scan.
Level 2 -Check the RJ45 Cable
between the detector and the CU
Board on the detectors.
Check the lights on the CU board that
is part of the Detector board.
Check the RJ45 port on the Computer
to see if there is activity (the light will
flash). Check on the windows
application network connection
symbol to look for a connection.
Use VOTI
’s Diagnostic Tool to verify
the connectivity with the detectors via
the CU board.
No video capture device was detected. Camera USB problem Level 2
– check the Camera
connections.
X-Ray will not start Could be a hardware problem with
connections or switches.
This is a communication error between
the DIO and the 12VDC components.
Level 2
– check connections and
interlocks.
Check the RS232 or the 12VDC
cables between the Power Control
Unit/DIO and the X-Ray Source
Could not open file \
”cfg/bad_pixels.txt”.
Unable to open X-Ray constants file
loadBitmapFromFile failed
File is missing. Level 3
– Restore software file.
Archive directory not found.
Disk is almost full.
Do you wish to make a backup?
Error deleting the Archive / Picture file

– the disk is almost full
and has reached a specific size
prompting either to overwrite files or
create a backup.
Deciding to not create a back up
(move the fi
les off the scanner’s
database), stops saving the archives
when the database is full and does not
overwrite any files. The scanner will
continue to function but no data will be
saved.
Overwrite the Archive - overwrite the
oldest files.
Create a backup - each time the
software starts, a message appears
until the data has been moved to an
external device.
To copy files to an external archive
device, follow the prompts:
To create a back up, open a File
transfer box, insert an external
storage device, and press OK.
An alert appears when the external
storage device does not have enough free
space to do the back up. Please insert
another external storage device then retry
or press Cancel to abort. External storage device is full. Insert a device with more memory
and press OK to continue.
Failed to create the directDraw object
Query interface for Direct Draw.
Set DirectDraw cooperative level
Failure with the system libraries.
Failed to create the off-screen surface or
back buffer surface or primary surface.
Failed to enumerate DirectDraw devices.
Restart the computer.
