Field 

Description 

 

Runs the conveyor in a forward direction.  

 

Start the X-ray simulation.  

 

Toggles the conveyor speed fast or slow. In the Risk Assessment 
module, the conveyor speed is set for the different levels. The speed 
can be fast or slow. The SPEED button allows the speed to be 
manually set for testing purposes.  

Outputs 

 

Contains the binary value and a colour display for the state of the 
output.  

 

Motor ON/OFF

 is for the Conveyor Motor.  

 

Motor Direction

 is for the Forward or Reverse direction of the 

conveyor.  

 

Green Lights

 is for the lights on top of the scanner.  

 

X-Ray On/Off

 is for the X-ray generator.  

 

Speed

 is for the selected speed of the conveyor.  

 

Red Lights

 is for the lights on top of the scanner during a scan.  

 

Spare

 

– Not Used. 

Inputs

EC1

 is for the Photo Sensor Transmitter 1 (tunnel entrance).  

 

EC2
