Remove J-41 Harness from power PWA (03-925082-01) & install into Analyzer cable.

Install Analyzer Cable into J41.
1.3.6
Connect Instrument Power Cable to correct Voltage (101,120,220) Adapter made for Hy-Pot Tester.

Turn on Instrument Power Switch.
1.3.8
Make sure Continuing Light/Function is activated.
Warning: NEVER TOUCH INSTRUMENT DURING HY-POT TEST

Depress TEST MODE key on Analyzer.
1.3.10 Observe Pass/Fail condition on Analyzer.
1.3.11 If FAIL, Trouble Shoot Instrument to determine defect (refer to Troubleshooting chart).
1.3.12 If PASS, proceed with Burn-in Procedure. (observe Safety Precautions during disconnect, make sure voltage indicator on the
Analyzer is reading Zero).
1.3.13 Remove Ground Cable, Analyzer Cable and re-install J41 Harness into Power PWA.
1.3.14 Sign off Data Record Sheet under “HY POT”.

Instrument Burn-in Procedure
Warnings & Precautions:
*
When heating Injectors/Detectors, make sure one of the specified gases is flowing through them.
*
Make sure all heat sensitive materials are removed from heated zones.
*
Burn-in PFPD’s with the proper combustor holder and washer (see Sales Order).
*
For GS Valves, be sure Temperatures on Injector/Column Oven are
NOT
set higher than the Valves will allow.

Set up & Connection
1.5.1
Connect Instrument to correct Voltage (101,120,220).
1.5.2
Connect Appropriate Gases to Instrument rear panel (type and location of Gases determined by Detector type).

Install test column w/adapter and seal to each Injector (Column is
≈
18” x 1/8” packed column).
1.5.4
Install a Plug in each Detector Base.

Power up Instrument.

Press any key to run in local mode, if unit has a COM PWA, & wait for instrument to initialize.

Observe Set Up Menu (see diagram). If Set Up Menu is not displayed, depress the SETUP Key and select “EDIT
