The

Ports
menu path provides VLAN Port Status.
The S4224 ports can be configured with a default or native VLAN id, so that all untagged and priority
tagged traffic will be classified to this VLAN ID. The native VLAN ID for all ports is set to 1 but is
configurable on a per-port basis. Hence all ports by default belong to the same broadcast domain.
The VLAN User module uses the services of the VLAN management functionality to configure VLAN
memberships and VLAN port configuration such as PVID or UVID.
VLAN User
Various internal software modules may use VLAN services to configure VLAN port configuration on
the fly. The VLAN user type drop-down list on the right allows for selecting between showing VLAN
memberships as configured by an administrator (Admin) or as configured by one of these internal
software modules. If a given software modules hasn't overridden any of the port settings, the text "
No
data exists for the selected user
" is shown in the table.
Combined
: The "Combined" entry shows a combination of the administrator and
internal software modules configuration, and basically reflects what is actually
configured in hardware.
Admin

data exists for the selected user" is shown in the table.
