Edit User (Edit the Default
admin
User)
To edit the default admin user, click the admin link to display the Edit User page. This page lets you
configure the system password required to access the web pages or log in from CLI.
Enter the
Password
and
Privilege
Level
as described below.
Add a New User
To add a new user, click the Add New
user
button. The
Add User
table displays.
The parameters are explained below.
User Name
A string identifying the user name that this entry should belong to. The allowed string length is
1
to
32
. A valid user name can include a combination of letters, numbers and underscores.
Password
The password of the user. The allowed string length is
0
to
32
alpha, numeric, or special characters.
Password (again)
Enter the Password again to confirm. These entries must match exactly.
The new password must be entered twice to catch typing errors. The message “
Password Error -
The old password is incorrect. New password is not set.
” displays if the new password entered is the
same as the old password. If this occurs, click the browser Back button and enter a unique new
password and confirm with an identical entry.
