Once you complete the steps successfully and the unit has connected, the following
confirmation screen is displayed:

You may tap the “OK” button or the X icon in the top right corner to close this window and
return to the “Connectivity” screen.
When unsuccessful, an error message appears on the screen of the device, detailing the
nature of the problem. Use this information for troubleshooting the connection problem,
then try again.
Connect via Passcode
This procedure uses a passcode that is generated by the system when you open the
“Connect via Passcode” screen shown in Figure 106.
Proceed as follows to connect using a passcode:
1. Create a Thermo Fisher Scientific account,
2. Tap the “Settings” icon on the Main Navigation Bar.
3. Tap the “Connectivity” button on the “Settings” screen.
The “Connectivity” screen shown in Figure 97 further above appears.
4. Tap the “Thermo Fisher Cloud” button.
5. Tap the “Connect via Passcode” box on the “Thermo Fisher Cloud” screen.
Connected
OK
This unit is now connected to your
Thermo Fisher Cloud account.
