Optical 384-Well Reaction Plate onto the sample block(s) so that well A1 is
at the upper left corner of the tray, as shown below:

Close the heated cover.
Loading samples in the Veriti
™
60-well Thermal Cycler
There is no need to use mineral oil or glycerine in the sample wells or as a vapor barrier over the PCR
reaction mixture in the tubes. The GeneAmp
™
Thin-Walled Reaction Tubes fit tightly in the wells, and the
heated cover exerts an even pressure on all tubes, eliminating condensation on the tubes.
1.
Pipette the samples into the reaction tubes.
2.
Cap the tubes.
3.
Place the GeneAmp
™
Thin-Walled Reaction Tubes with Flat or Domed Caps (0.5 mL) onto the
sample block(s).
4.
Place the GeneAmp
™
Thermal Isolation Frame around the sample block(s).
5.
Close the heated cover.
