Powering on
1.
Verify that the heated cover is closed.
2.
Press the power button on the back left side of the instrument:

Before performing a run, be sure to set the following instrument settings:
• Instrument IP address (“Setting the IP address”
on page 31 )
• Instrument name (“Setting the instrument name”
on page 32 )
• Current date and time (“Setting the date and time”
on page 32 )
• Printer information, if you want to print run methods or the run report (“Configuring the instrument
for a printer” on page 32 )
