, then enter the duration.

Default Standby Time-Out
sets the duration that the instrument is idle before the
touchscreen is turned off. Enter a duration of
00:00
if you do not want the instrument to
turn off the touchscreen.

Default Pause Duration
sets the duration the instrument pauses, after you select
Pause
during a run.

Configuring main menu shortcuts to functions
You can add buttons to the
Main Menu
screen that allow you to go directly to various instrument
functions. When login is required, each user can configure his or her own shortcut buttons; otherwise
the shortcut buttons are displayed for all instrument users.
You can also create shortcuts to run methods (see “Creating a shortcut to a run method”

In the list of functions available as shortcuts in the
Configure Shortcuts
screen, select the
functions to select them. Select
(Page Up)
and
(Page Down)
to scroll through the list.

to return to the
Settings Menu
screen.
The selected shortcut(s) appear in the
Main Menu
screen.
Deleting shortcuts
To delete a shortcut, follow the steps above, but uncheck the function to remove it from the Main Menu.
Any run methods for which there is a shortcut are shown at the bottom of the list and can also be
deleted.
