
Replacing fuses
Fuse overview
The instrument has two 10 A Type M 250 V 5 × 20 mm fuses (Cat. No. 4377690).
WARNING!
FIRE HAZARD.
For continued protection against the risk of fire, replace fuses only with
Listed and Certified fuses of the same type and rating as those currently in the instrument.
DANGER!
ELECTRICAL HAZARD.
To protect yourself against shock hazards, use a properly wired
three-terminal outlet. Do not use an adapter to a two-terminal outlet since this does not provide
positive ground protection.

• Fine flat-tip screwdriver
Procedure
1.
Turn off the instrument and disconnect the power cord from the back of the instrument.
DANGER!
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
Severe electrical shock, which could cause
physical injury or death, can result from working on an instrument when the high voltage power
supply is operating. To avoid electrical shock, disconnect the power supply to the instrument,
unplug the power cord, and wait at least 1 minute before working on the instrument.
