In the options menu, select
AutoDelta.
The
Create an AutoDelta Step
screen is displayed:

Select
Starting Cycle,
then enter the cycle at which the AutoDelta step begins.

Select the parameter(s) to increment:
• Select
Delta Temperature,
then enter the number of degrees that the temperature changes
for each cycle. To enter a temperature that decreases with every cycle, select

to change it to

. To enter a temperature that increases, the button should show

and/or
• Select
Delta Time,
then enter the minutes and seconds that the step duration should change
with each cycle. To enter a time that decreases with each cycle, select

to change it to

enter a time that increases, the button should show

Note:
Make sure the parameters you enter result in a final temperature
greater
than 4.0°C and
less
than 99.9°C. Also, the Delta Time must be less than the total time for the stage.
5.
Select
OK
to save the step and return to the screen that displays the run method.
The AutoDelta symbol appears on the step with the AutoDelta step. In this example, Step 2
in Stage 2 is an AutoDelta step:
