7. Place the pinhole slide that came with your microscope in the

universal slide holder.

Notice

Avoid damaging the microscope. Do not allow the stage to bump the

objective or condenser. Damage from stage collisions is not covered

by warranty.



8. Position the pinhole directly under the objective.

Look directly at the slide (not through the viewer) and use the

stage focus controls to raise or lower the stage until the spot of

white light on the slide is most concentrated (the smallest spot

size).
