1.  Select reflection sampling mode. 

Check to be sure that Experiment Setup (available through the 

Collect menu of OMNIC Atlµs) is closed and then use the 

Sampling Mode switch on the front panel. 

 

 

2.  Install the sample on an appropriate reflective substrate on a 

sample slide and place it on the microscope stage. 

 

3.  Use the X-Y knobs, joystick or Move Stage tools to center the 

sample under the GAO. 

 

Notice

  To avoid damaging the microscope, be careful not to move the stage 

up into the GAO in the next steps. Raise the stage slowly. 


