Make sure Quartus II and Nios II are installed on your PC.
•
Connect an USB cable to the MAX 10 Plus board (J8) and install USB Blaster driver if
necessary.

Execute the demo batch file “uart_usb.bat” under the batch file folder uart_usb\demo_batch.

In the putty terminal, type any character to change the LED state. Type a digital number to
toggle the LEDR[9..0] state and type a/A or n/N to turn on/off all LEDR.
