PRISM MPI-MPX User Manual
SILENCE: The signal is at or below the specified Silence Level for a time exceeding the
Duration for Silence setting.
V BIT: Indicates that the Validity bit is set high for one or more data samples. In the AES/
EBU standard, a set validity bit indicates that the sample is not suitable for conversion
to audio. By default, the level meter bars and Lissajous
NOT PRESENT: Indicates that an audio bar is not present in the current audio input. For
example, if a Dolby Digital input has a coding mode indicating a reduced number of
channels.
DOLBY E: Indicates that Dolby E encoded audio is present on the channel.
CLIP: Indicates the number of times the audio level was at the digital code for the
maximum amplitude for ten consecutive samples.
OVER: Indicates the number of times the audio level exceeded 0dB for over-level
duration of 1 second.
Note:
The 32-channel audio is supported with MP2-FMT-8K license. In 8K video with
Quad 12G-SDI connection, the first 16 channels (of 32 channels) comes from the link
A1 and the second 16 channel comes from the link B1. The two Audio applications
must be selected in two tiles to display the 32-channel audio bars.
Surround Display
To turn on the surround display:
1.
I
n the Audio Settings, in Aux Display,
select
Surround
.
2.
Set the surround Dominance Indicator to ON or OFF as needed.
3.
Set the
Loudness Filter
to the type preferred. A-weighting biases the response
toward that of human hearing.
4.
Use the level bar display to monitor level control.
