MPEG2-TS Output
The MPEG2-TS output container encodes media and saves it as an MPEG2 Transport
Stream file.
Note:
Controls with a green Browse button may be bound to a variable to
dynamically assign their setting or value. The variable must have a value when this
action executes. You can assign the value to the variable in a previous action in the
workflow or use the variable's default value. Click Browse to select the variable or
create a new one.
Select the container to display its settings in the configuration panel on the right.

MPEG2-TS Config Name
. Specifies the custom name of this output configuration.
Displayed as a Configuration Template (along with all other outputs in this action) in
the Capture Web app, so that the operator can select a specific Output configuration
for the current capture session.
Container Settings
File Extension
. Specifies the file extension of the generated MPEG2 TS file.
File Bit Rate
. (Default 19,000,000 bps). If unchecked, the Multiplexer uses the minimum
rate as computed from the sum of all maximum rates for elementary streams, data
streams, PSI streams and necessary overhead.
List Audio Streams Before Video Streams
. When checked, lists audio streams before
video streams in the PMT stream order.
PAT Rate
. (Default 10.0 tables per second.) Specifies the repetition rate of the Program
Association Table in the output stream. The PAT lists all programs in a transport stream,
each of which is identified by a 16-bit Program Number.
PMT Rate
. (Default 10.0 tables per second.) Specifies the repetition rate of the Program
Map Table in the output stream. Each program listed in the PAT has a PMT (with PID)
containing information about the program.
