Theory of Operation
Paper pick
With the paper clamp bar properly positioned, the clamp actuator roller rotates
to force open the paper clamp bar’s four spring-loaded clamps. Following the
clamp’s opening the paper clamp guide is lowered. Then the pick roller rotates
to pick and drive a sheet of paper into the feed roller. The feed roller, aided by
the feed roller guide, in turn drives the paper into the paper clamp guide which
directs the paper into the open clamps of the paper clamp bar.
