Instrument: Selects the IEEE1394 device for the point-to-point connection.
Press the TAB button repeatedly to select the list box, and then press the
arrow buttons to select the instrument.
Connect or Disconnect: Connects or disconnects the selected IEEE1394
device.
. If bus reset occurs by disconnecting an IEEE1394 cable when the
point-to-point connection is established, the connection is terminated.
to Tuner: Sets whether the connection setting is made by the IEEE1394
device in connecting the MTX100 Option 05 and an IEEE1394 device.
Press the TAB button repeatedly to select the check box, and then press the
SELECT button to toggle the check box on (checked) or off (not checked).
Some IEEE1394 devices do not recognize the MTX100 Option 05 when you
make connection from the MTX100 Option 05. In this case, when you select
the check box, the IEEE1394 device takes initiative for the connection. You
need to select the check box when you connect a BS/CS tuner to the
MTX100 Option 05.
Press the ENTER button on the front panel to enable all the settings and to close
the dialog box.
The ASI/310M menu is displayed when the SMPTE310M/ASI interface option
is installed. This menu contains commands for setting an output signal and ASI
output format. Table 3-9 describes the commands available in the ASI/310M
menu.

Port
Sets which signal to output from the OUTPUT connector. You can select
ASI or 310MĂ8VSB (SMPTE310M signal with data rate of 8 VSB).
ASI Format
Sets the output format of the ASI signal. You can select Byte or Packet.
For Byte, valid data is output using a burst transmission mode. For
Packet, valid data is output in each transport stream packet.
