MTX100 MPEG Recorder & Player User Manual
Setting Ethernet Network Parameters
You can set the network parameters for the MTX100 using the Control Panel of
Windows 2000.
. The following procedure assumes that you are familiar with the basics of
using the Windows 2000 operating system. If necessary, review the Windows
2000 documentation.
Perform the following procedure to set the network parameters for the MTX100.
1. Connect the keyboard and mouse provided with the instrument to the USB
connectors on the front panel. You can connect them to either of the
connectors.
2. Select Minimize or Exit from the File menu to close the Play (or Record)
screen. The Windows 2000 desktop appears.
3. Select Settings

Control Panel from the Start menu. The Control Panel
window appears.
4. Double-click the Network and Dial-up Connections icon in the window.
The Network and Dial-up Connections window appears as shown in
Figure 3-22.
