1.
Connect the master unit and the slave unit by using the synchronization cable before turning
on the power.
Connect between <SYNC OUT> of the rear panel of the master unit and <SYNC IN> of the rear
panel of the slave unit. The DS series can automatically assign the master and slave status with
the cable connection.

Turn on the power of the master unit after the cable connection. The slave unit will be
automatically turned to on with the power on of the master unit.
The master unit sends its sampling clock to the slave unit.

When the recording synchronization is ready, the LCDs of the master and slave units are
displayed as follows.

POWER LED of the slave unit lights orange.
You can confirm the synchronization status of each unit at <SYNC INFO> of the <MISC> menu.

If the LCD of each unit does not display above, turn off the power of the units. Then re-try to
connect the cable and turn on the power.

When you start recording the master unit, the slave unit follows by recording at the same
time.
5.
When you stop recording the master unit, the slave unit follows by stopping.
6.
Turning off the power of the master unit automatically turns off the power of the slave unit.
