7.2 Start and Stop Recording
You can start and stop recording by using the keys on the front panel.
1.
Confirm that the system is in ready state (<READY> display).
2.
Press the REC key. <RECSTANDBY> is displayed and the system enters the record standby
state. The LED on the REC key lights red and the LED on the START key flashes green.
Recording at Endless Mode (6.5 Record Mode Setting)
At the endless recording mode, press the REC key to start recording. You do not need to press
the START key.
Counter value being displayed while recording is the elapsed time from the start.
Maximum recording capacity is limited at the size of the internal hard disk drive.

Press the START key. <REC> is displayed and the system goes into the recording state.
The LED on the START key lights green.

flashes to indicate that the system is in recording.
Elapsed time from the start recording is displayed at the right corner of the LCD.
Recording to Network Drive
When you select [LAN] or [Both] to record to the network drive, the recording may not be
continued because enough data transmission band via network is not secured. In this case,
<TOO SLOW!> is displayed and the recording is stopped right after recording start.
<TOO SLOW!> disappears by moving from the current menu.

Press the EVENT key to record the event mark(s) while recording. Pressing the EVENT key
turns the LED of the EVENT key to orange
<EVENT> will be displayed for 3 seconds while pressing the EVENT key, then <REC> will be
displayed again.
