2. MANUAL INFORMATION
WARNING
Do not connect a power supply that is not specified for this product. Using a power supply that
does not meet the specifications may cause a fire-hazard/electric shock or may damage the
product.
Follow the information below to use the DS series. A related section number is shown with this
instruction book.
1.
Turn ON the power of the unit. How to turn ON the power and to shut down the unit are
explained in Section 3.

Enter the necessary settings by using the main and sub menus to be displayed on the LCD.
How to operate the menus is explained in Section 4.

Set the record conditions such as the sampling rate, etc. How to set the record conditions is
explained in Section 6.

Use the keys and the controls on the front panel to start and stop recording. It is explained
in Section 7.

Also, use the keys and the controls on the front panel to start and stop playback. It is
explained in Section 10.

You can also operate the unit by using the browser on the PC connected via network. How
to connect to the PC is explained in Section 11, and how to set the network parameters of the
unit is explained in Section 12.
