1.3 Keys and Controls
In this paragraph, we will explain the functions of the keys and controls of the unit.

Function

BATTERY LED
Turn ON if the battery operates and if the battery voltage
becomes lower.

ALARM LED
Turn ON if the unit detects any failure.

LCD
20 characters x 4 lines LCD. Key setting messages and the
unit status are displayed.

Level Display LED
Indicate signal input levels of each channel.
No flash: Input level +/- less 5 %
Green: +/- 5 % to approxi/- 50 %
Orange: +/- 51 % to approximately 125 %
Red: Excess input approximately more than +/- 125 %

Hard Disk Drive
Tray
The removable hard disk drive (Proprietary) is installed inside of
the tray.

Press to start recording.

STOP
Press to stop recording.
Press to return to the previous menu without change of
settings.

REC
Press to enter the record standby state.

PAUSE
Press to pause recording (to enter the record standby state).

EVENT
Press to write an event mark.

Up/Down/Left/Right
Keys
Press to move the cursors at the LCD, or to change display
items.

PEAK CLEAR
Press to clear a peak of the level display LED.

ENTER
Press to set settings and selections.

POWER LED
POWER LED
Turn ON red when the main power switch is turned to ON, then
change to green when the power switch on the front panel is
turned to ON.
The slave unit of the synchronization recording will flash orange
instead of green.

POWER switch

VOLUME
Adjust output level of the speaker.

MEMO IN
Connect a microphone to record voice memo.

PHONES
Connect a headphone to listen to monitor output.
Speaker output is disabled when connecting the headphone.

MON OUT
Monitor output connector. Analog signal output of a specified
channel is available as a through output of the input signal.
