Automated Cleaning Instructions with Manual Pre-Cleaning
1. Manual Pre-Cleaning
For the manual pre-cleaning please follow steps 1–6 and
8 of the Manual Cleaning Instructions on pages 30–32.
Once completed, place the articles in the washing basket
for the automated cleaning procedure.
■ Notes:
•
Manual pre-cleaning prior to automated cleaning is
important to ensure cannulations and other difficult to
access areas are clean.
•
Alternative cleaning procedures other than the one
described (including manual pre-cleaning) have not
been validated.
•
The automated cleaning instructions with manual pre-
cleaning are valid for the UNIUM Washing and
Sterilization Baskets, Insert Tray and Lids.
