Recording
This Balance Mode is referred to as “Mix.” In Balance
Mode: Mix, a Playback Balance setting of ‘Left 100%’
will place the Left channel content in both the Left and
Right output channels (both sides of your headphones/
L&R speakers) Move the joystick left or right to select
"Stereo" or "Mix.” The default setting is "Stereo.”
Equalizer Settings
The PSD410 offers two independent 3-band parametric
equalizers (EQ); one equalizer affects input signals
(microphones, instruments, etc.) while the other
equalizer affects file playback. Follow these steps to
adjust the playback equalizer (Note: When you exit this
screen, all settings will be stored on the SD card along
with the selected file):
Playback Equalizer
1. Press the TEMPO/KEY button to open the Tempo/
Key screen.
2. Press the joystick down two times to open the
Tempo & Key [EQ] screen.
3. Parameter Type:
Turn the jog wheel to select
the parameter to be adjusted: Frequency, Gain, or
Bandwidth.
Frequency
When Parameter Type is set for Frequency, turn the
FUNCTION ADJUST controller to select any frequency
between 20Hz and 20kHz for each band. Pressing the
FUNCTION ADJUST knobs will return all settings to
default values.
Gain
When Parameter Type is set for Gain, turn the FUNCTION
ADJUST controller to determine the gain for each Band.
Gain can be ad/- 12dB. Pressing the FUNCTION
ADJUST knobs will return all settings to default values.
