4. Turn FUNCTION ADJUST #2 (4B) to adjust the
volume of the metronome.
Adjusting Accent Beat and Accent Beat
Volume
By designating a particular beat to play louder than other
beats, the PSD410 metronome is able to imply different
rhythmic meters. For instance, setting the Accent Beat
Number to 3 will cause every third beat to sound louder
than the other two. At moderate tempos, this will create
a waltz feel. Adjusting the Accent Beat Volume will
determine how much louder the Accent Beat will sound
over the non-accented beats.
1. Turn FUNCTION ADJUST #1 (4A) to set an Accent
Beat Number. Select beat 1-7 or ‘0’ for no accent
beat. Press FUNCTION ADJUST #1 (4A) to return the
Accent Beat Number to the default setting (4).
2. Turn FUNCTION ADJUST #3 (4C) to set the volume
of the accent beat. Press FUNCTION ADJUST #3 (4C)
to return the Accent Beat Volume to the default
setting (0.00dB).
Using Tap Tempo
Metronome Tempo can also be determined by pressing
the TAP button.
Press the TAP button at the desired tempo a minimum of
6 times toadjust the BPM setting of the metronome.
The LED flashes on and off according to the BPM setting
of the metronome. The LED will flash green for normal
beats and red for accent beats.
