Recording

Recording with
the PSD410
Basic Recording
1. Insert a mini SD Card (see
Inserting a Mini SD Card.
).
2. Select an Input – Press the Input Select button
to view input options. Turn the jog wheel to
change Input Source. For more information on
selecting inputs and setting levels see
Setting Up
Microphones, Instruments and Other Sound Sources
.
3. Press the Record button once to enter Record Pause
mode. The Record button will flash and the VU
meters at the bottom of the display will respond to
your input signal(s).
4. Press the Record Button again to start recording.The
Record button will stay lit during recording.
5. Finish recording.

Press the Stop button when you are finished
recording
or
②
Press the REC REVIEW button to stop the recording
and playback the recording immediately.
Recording to External USB Storage
To record to an attached
USB storage device, select
[Return] on the Track Select
[Folder] screen and press
ENTER. Select [USBHDD]
and press ENTER. The
remaining steps are the
same as Basic Recording.
Track Increment
During recording, you can increment tracks by:
(1) pressing the Record button (seamless track increment)
or
(2) pressing the Play/Pause button (recording is paused).
When a recording is paused, press the Play/Pause button
again to continue recording on a new track.
