6. Press PUNCH IN/OUT button to change to REC Pause
Mode (Punch In/Out).
7. Adjust the REC Level knobs so that the Record Level
(left and right channels) does not exceed 0 dB as
indicated on the Level meters. (see
Setting Levels
).
8. Press the REC button or PLAY/PAUSE button to start
recording. If a Pre-Roll Time is set in the Record
Settings menu (see
Pre-Roll Time / Post-Roll Time)
,
playback will begin a number of seconds before
punch-in point A, as determined by the Pre-Roll
Time.
9. When Recording between point A (punch-in) and
point B (punch-out) has finished, the recording will
stop automatically and the Save menu will appear.
10. Select OK and the new file (executed punch-in)
will be saved. Select Cancel and the file will not be
saved. When Cancel is selected, the PSD410 will
reenter REC Pause Mode (Punch In/Out) (step #6)
allowing the user to redo the punch-in recording.
