Recording
8. Press the REC button (8A) or PLAY/PAUSE button
(8C) to start overdubbing. If a Pre-Roll Time is set in
the Record Settings menu (see
Pre Roll Time / Post
Roll Time
), playback will begin a number of seconds
before Overdub point A, as determined by the Pre-
Roll Time.
9. Press the Stop button when you are finished
recording. The Save menu will appear.
10. Select OK and the new file (executed overdub) will
be saved. Select Cancel and the file will not be
saved. When Cancel is selected, the PSD410 will re-
enter REC Pause Mode (Overdub) (step #6) allowing
the user to redo the Overdub recording.
※
To adjust Playback Level for the
accompaniment file, turn FUNCTION ADJUST
#2 (4B) when the main Overdub screen is
visible.
Monitor Source
When Overdubbing, it is helpful to specify a Monitor
Source. Selecting ‘Recording Signal’ as the Monitor
Source will allow you to hear both the accompaniment
file and the input signals (microphones, instruments, etc.)
in the headphones and built-in speaker as you record.
When ‘Playback Signal’ is selected as the Monitor Source,
the input signals will not be heard in the headphones
or built-in speaker. This allows you to hear the
accompaniment track without hearing your own voice or
instrument during recording.
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Move the joystick up or down or turn the jog wheel
to select Playback Settings. Press ENTER.
3. Move the joystick up or down or turn the jog wheel
to select Monitor Source. Press ENTER.
4. Turn the jog wheel to select Recording Signal or
Playback Signal. Press ENTER. Press the CANCEL
button to cancel changes.
