5. Press FUNCTION ADJUST #2 (4B) during playback to
set Overdub point B. This is the point at which you
will finish layering audio. Loop Playback will start at
point A automatically.
6. Move the joystick down to turn Loop playback OFF.
7. Press the
OVERDUB button to enter REC Pause
Mode (Overdub).
8. Adjust the REC Level knobs so that the Record Level
(left and right channels) does not exceed 0 dB as
indicated on the Level meters. (see
Setting Levels)
.
9. Press the REC button (8A) or PLAY/PAUSE button
(8C) to start overdubbing. If a Pre-Roll Time is set in
the Record Settings menu (see
Pre-Roll Time / Post-
Roll Time
), playback will begin a number of seconds
before Overdub point A, as determined by the Pre-
Roll Time.
10. The accompaniment track will stop at the end of
point B or the Post-Roll Time (see
Pre-Roll Time /
Post-Roll Time
). The Save menu will appear.
11. Select OK and the new file (executed overdub) will
be saved. Select Cancel and the file will not be
saved. When Cancel is selected, the PSD410 will re-
enter REC Pause Mode (Overdub) (step 7) allowing
the user to redo the Overdub recording.
