2. Turn the jog wheel or move the joystick up or down
to highlight the folder or file you wish to divide.
3. Push the EDIT button to open the Edit menu screen.
4. Turn the jog wheel or move the joystick up or down
to highlight Divide. Press ENTER.
5. The Divide screen will be displayed. Press the PLAY/
PAUSE button [8C] to begin playback
.
6. When you hear the point at which you want to
divide the track, press FUNCTION ADJUST #1 (4A).
Playback will loop the 4 seconds before the Divide
point.
7. You can fine-adjust the divide point by turning
FUNCTION ADJUST #1 (4A).
8. Press the ENTER to divide the track.
The two new files will be placed in the same folder as
the original track.
The new files will be named according to the following
format:
Original file
= ‘Track01. wav’
Part A
(before Divide point) = ‘Track01_A.wav’
Part B
(after Divide point) = ‘Track01_B.wav’
A progress bar is displayed during the Divide
procedure. Do not power off until the procedure is
complete. If power is interrupted during the Divide
operation, the new files may be lost.
