Editing
Trim In / Out
※
This features works with WAV files only. If you
wish to divide an MP3 file, convert the file
to WAV format first before using the Divide
feature (see
Export .). Each new file must be
more than 4 seconds.
Use this feature to remove unnecessary audio at the
beginning or end of track.
1. Press the TRACK SELECT button to open the Track
Select [Folder] screen.

2. Turn the jog wheel or move the joystick up or down
to highlight the file you wish to trim.
3. Push the EDIT button to open the Edit menu screen.
4. Turn the jog wheel or move the joystick up or down
to highlight Trim In/Out. Press ENTER.
5. The Trim In/Out screen will be displayed. Press the
PLAY/PAUSE button [8C] to begin playback
.
6. When you hear the point at which you want to trim,
press FUNCTION ADJUST #1 (4A). Playback will loop
the 4 seconds after the Trim point. Audio from the
beginning of the track to this point will be removed.
7. Press FUNCTION ADJUST #2 (4B) to switch playback
to the second trim point. Audio from this point to
the end of the track will be removed. Playback will
loop the 4 seconds before the Trim point.
