General maintenance information
vides optimal performance and service life. It
is also a precondition for any warranty claims.
Maintenance timeframe
– The maintenance check lists indicate the
maintenance work that is due.
– Carry out maintenance work on the truck
based on the hour meter.
The intervals are defined for standard use.
Shorter maintenance intervals can be defined
in consultation with the operating company,
depending on the application conditions of the
truck.
The following factors may necessitate shorter
maintenance intervals:
• Dirty, poor quality roadways
• Dusty or salty air
• High levels of air humidity
• Extremely high or low ambient tempera-
tures, or extreme changes in temperature
• Multi-shift operation with a high duty cycle
• Specific national regulations for the truck or
individual components
