Handling loads

Contact the authorised service centre on
this matter.
– With the load lowered in accordance with
regulations, approach the racking and align
the load as accurately as possible.
– Brake.
– Tilt the fork arms or lift mast until the fork
arms are horizontal.
– Raise the load to just above the required
height.
– If necessary operate the sideshift to position
the load centrally.
– Extend the reach carriage fully.
– Release the brake.
– Drive up to the racking so the truck chassis
is as close as possible until the load can be
lowered into its final position.
– Brake.
– Slowly lower the fork carriage until the load
is positioned on the racking.
– Retract the reach carriage fully.
– Ensure that the roadway on the drive side
is clear. Move the truck back carefully and
slowly until the fork arms can be lowered
without touching the racking.
– Lower the fork carriage until the necessary
ground clearance is achieved.
– Tilt the fork tips or lift mast fully to the drive
side into the driving position.
