DAMP. (Damping) TIME DISDPLAY
Sets the damping time constant for the speed indication at the speed
display.
The higher the time constant, the stronger sudden peaks of the actual
speed indication will be damped.

As a rule of thumb, the damping time value should at least cover one
pitch up and down cycle of the ship.
Settings: RANGE: 0 – 60 SEC
Default value: 04
DAMP. (Damping) TIME OUTPUT
Sets the damping time constant for the speed value transmitted via the
analogue, the pulse and the serial data outputs.
The higher the time constant, the stronger signal swings of the actual
speed output will be damped.

As a rule of thumb, the damping time value should at least cover one
pitch up and down cycle of the ship.
Settings: RANGE: 0 – 60 SEC
Default value: 04
Note The damping time constant is not effective for the pulse outputs.

Sets the damping time constant for the docking display.
The higher the time constant, the stronger sudden peaks of the actual
speed will be damped in the docking display page.
Settings: RANGE: 0 – 60 SEC
