1.1 Intended Use
The Spacelabs
élance
Vital Signs Monitor is used to monitor the following parameters
for adult and pediatric patients. The monitor also supports printing as well as audible
and visual alarms for the parameters listed.
 Electrocardiograph (ECG)
 Heart rate/pulse rate (HR/PR)
 Noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP, systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial
pressures)
 Functional arterial oxygen saturation (SpO
