6.3 Alarm Suspend Mode
The
élance
Vital Signs Monitor allows alarms to be temporarily suspended.
6.3.1 Activate/Deactivate the Suspend Mode

TEPS
:
1.
Touch
the
Monitor Setup icon
from the Main Menu.
A Setup Menu will appear.
2.
Touch
the
Alarm Suspend key
.
A flashing bar with an “All Alarms Suspended”
message, as shown below, will appear at the bottom of the screen.
The suspend mode is activated and deactivated in the same manner.
Caution:
Alarm Suspend mode temporarily turns off all alarm functions, including
audible and visual alarm indicators.
Note:
The suspended time is based on a defined time setting in the
élance
Vital Signs
Monitor. Thereafter the suspend alarm mode will be deactivated.
