The SpO
2
zone consists of two areas:
The Waveform area
The Numerical area
You can access the SpO
2
menu by touching the SpO
2
Numerical area.
Once the SpO
2
sensor is attached to patient, a message “Acquiring SpO
2
Data” will be
displayed in the message area to indicate that the monitor is in process of acquiring
SpO
2
data. The data acquisition will take approximately 8 seconds. SpO
2
waveform
with numeric will be displayed once data acquisition is completed.
During the data acquiring process, a straight line will be shown in the SpO
2
waveform
area and the numeric will be blank, as shown below:
