6-9. Installation of the Tape Drive
(6) Remove the slide rails of the drive stage whose setting
is to be changed.

To remove screw “a” and screw “b” shown in the
figure, slide the inner rail until hole A is aligned with
screw “a” or “b” and remove the screw.

Moving the stage support fixing screws
Moving the attachment position of the four hexagonal
head cap bolts (M4
x
8) fixing the right and left EX
stage supports, becomes necessary.
(8) Align the lower square hole on the stage support (F)
with the projected portion A of the metal plate and
change the attachment position.
(9) Align the two dowels (projected portions) on the unit
with the two reference holes on the outer rail within
the height of the cut-out on the stage support (F) and
fix the slide rail with the four screws.
(10)Attach the drive stage, gently push in the stage while
pushing the lock lever. At this time, confirm that the
two front reference pins and the two rear reference
pins are not caught and are inserted into the reference
holes on the stage smoothly.
