6-5. Connecting Extension Consoles
This section describes how to connect extension consoles.
One or two consoles can be connected when the extension
belt kit DMSA-BLT2 is used, 3 to 6 extension consoles
can be connected when the extension belt kit DMSA-BLT6
is used with the extension cable kit DMSA-CBL1.
Any cassette size of basic console and the extension
consoles can be connected freely.
When you want to connect both the basic console and
extension console at the same time, install the basic
console first.
1. Removing the Cabinets

Store the removed parts to avoid scratches or damage.

Remove the rear door of the basic console referring to
Preparation of Section “6-3. Removal of the Shipping
Metal Fixtures”

Remove the side panel of the basic console.
(1) Loosen the six hexagonal head cap bolts (with drop-
safe).

These screws have drop-safe washers. Be careful not
to remove the screws.
(2) While lifting up the side panel assembly in the direc-
tion of the arrow, remove it from the side plate support
(lower).

Remove the side fixing bracket of the basic console.
(1) Remove the ten screws and remove the side plate
support (side) at the right and left.
(2) Loosen the three screws, remove the side plate support
(lower) in the direction of the arrow, then remove the
three screws.
