Step-by-Step Instructions
4.
Orient the LCD sub-frame so that the LCD
assembly’s cavity is toward you. and the reciever is
to the right.
5.
Determine wether the two display cushions are
installed in the LCD sub-frame. If the display
cushions are not installed:
a.
Obtain a display cushion and position it in
location A so that a long side of the cushion is
against the side wall and a short side of the
cushion is against the rib that extends towards the
small display opening.
b.
Apply pressure to the cushion so that a good
bond forms.
c.
Obtain another display cushion and position it in
location B so that a long side of the cushion is
against the side wall and a short side of the
cushion starts at the location where there is no
radius between the side wall and the bottom of
the display cavity.
d.
Apply pressure to the cushion so that a good
bond forms.
6.
If the LCD sub-frame is being reused, remove any
adhesive residue left on the portion of the LCD sub-
frame that mates to the camera ring gasket on the
outer flip cover.
